High Definition
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
Don’t argue with God! You might laugh and say duh!
But I wonder my brother do you know what God wants?
Will you still be laughing on the judgment day?
When you stand before God with nothing to say?
If He asks: Did you read the letter I wrote You?
Will you say I was going to but I couldn’t remote you?
I couldn’t find You listed on the channels I had.
I couldn’t hear You telling me You were my Dad.
I thought those ancient words were just stories.
I had no idea I could ever bring You glory.
We can only understand from the things we put in.
Your television or your Bible? Let the lesson begin!
