Leeching Creatures
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
Leeching creatures.
Born blessed to live with minds to think.
Ungrateful and thoughtlessly,
Take for granted,
The air they breathe.
And the Earth they receive to feed desires,
Selfishly to greed.
As if this process without Mother Nature.
They can do independently.
Throughout threatening storms,
That come to warn done to do to remind...
No one lives to prolong,
An existence to witness immortality.
To choose to do to others,
What they want and wish to please misdeeds.
To believe The Creator,
Of this mysterious uniqueness.
Agrees to allow permanently with ease.
Yet repeatedly those limited in consciousness,
Bring upon themselves...
A creating of unending conflicts.
Division, racism and bigotry.
With a determination to leave messages,
Of an inflicting need to feel superiority.
To then too late to wonder why,
Their own lives to live fictioned to deceive...
Facts of truth to delude the proof of reality,
Leaves them to be the ones,
Grieving in sorrows.
On knees praying to God,
For brighter days with peaceful tomorrows!
Although...
Still choose to take steps made to create,
Their own destruction.
For a power to rule in ways to eliminate,
Humanity!
As if...
Children given toys to ruin and destroy.
Until their temper tantrums,
No longer patiently tolerated are replaced.
From birth to believe this taught to teach!
However...
God and Mother Nature,
Are not the makers of this game played!
