I sing of pain

Sadly, my life has a melody
A tune to which I dance to
It jerks me like a marionette
Twisting me in utter agony
Its drums of doom
Are my head knocks against the wall
Its trumpets of Armageddon
Are my cyclone sighs
The glass-shattering soprano
Breaks my heart to pieces
The deeply rattling bass
Drives me mad
It's more somber than a Gregorian chant
It spells more doom than a banshee wail
It's cry is more fatal than a Mandrake's
The demon choir of hell
The tune is agony
The beats are dirges
The lyrics are omens
The song is pain
I sing of pain
