I love you Daddy.

I love you Daddy that's for sure
and every day I love you more
I see the stars in your loving eyes
And dream of angels by your side
Phone me Daddy once in a while
For I will always be part of your pride
When you dream, dream of us
And all the things that our love does

Visit me Daddy and we can play
and I'll copy some of the things you say
I promise I will try to be good
to do some of the things you think I should
Sometimes I'll be quiet while you watch TV
I love it when you pay attention to me
When you read my book or tell me tales
My heart floats like a giant whale

Dear Daddy our love is like desert sand
It moves every particle its around
We can be the hero's of our land
And take each other hand in hand
Whenever I'm scared I think of you
The brave things that you taught me to
Our love can endure eternity
If I'm near you and you're near me

I'd climb each hill just to look up
At you upon each mountain top
Tall and strong like eagles in flight
One day I'll be stronger when we play fight
And when I walk too far behind
I'll raise my pace for your peace of mind
Remember me as one you'll always find
A friend so true, loving and kind

When you let me leap into your arms
Or ride your back and sound alarms
And light fire on the barbecue
or fireworks of stars that we drew
Or played our video games brand new
Then gave me something sweet to chew
I knew I'd always remember you
as the greatest boy I ever knew.
