As the stars shine to the moon

Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

As the stars shine to the moon
I hope one day I'll see you soon
That you'll walk by in sunlit skies
And look at me right in the eyes
Or cross by close to brush my arm
And fill my heart with mystic charm
For I love you enough to say
Excuse me love you make my day
You make it work. You make me work.
And in the darkest of pits i would lurk
if it meant I'd save you when you fall.
My candle for you this wick would burn.
This heart is yours as the blood it yearns.
You are the peace to my war.
You are my dignity you are my law,
and I will love you evermore.
