Subsistent

Sean^45 2000 (Limpopo)

From a dictionary full of illusions there raises a promise
A future full if possibilities that could be taint a past
All those that believe could be saved or doomed by it
Isn't life the chances that comes before promises made?
From a small entry to an even larger exit
Endless choices to kill a bad guy with profound notions
Was all it ever was just the adrenaline fulling their hate?
Fooled by the momentary emotions resulted in regret
Economical waste that was propelled by love for malice
Choices by enemies and friends differ from a standpoint
intentions of hurt available at their disposal, inhumanly
but what's more inhumane than a breath muted ?
A species ability to go against its own, how wicked?
Moral values no longer held with the same grip
Slowly changing toward immoral modernity that leads astray
Evolution leads the wild to madness for a few that's left
A second touch of pain that only those who endure survive
striping them of their senses and morals so what is left is worse
worse that death for even existing is just a reminder of it all

About this poem

Just trying to survive as humans is already hard when you think about it at all
