The Dark

I'm in too deep
Negative thoughts begin to creep
Like animals in the night
And cause lack of sleep
My mind has a leak
So serotonin starts to seep
And leaves me soft and weak
The dark has me now
I'm in it's clutches
It turns black everything it touches
And it won't let go
I just know that I can't say no
I bend to it's will until it peels
Me down to my core
I'm bound to the floor
And I will know relief nevermore
