COLORFUL DREAMS FROM A BLEACHED REALITY

I dream in bright vivid colours
A brightly hued tapestry in the fugue
The sky is bright blue and sunny
And the fluffy clouds snowy white
The scenes change smooth like a film roll
And each plate in equal high definition

I am the dashingly dressed starring here
Sporting a sunny smile and a gay mood
My moves are smooth and suave
And my voice rolls soothingly
I am a victor in all my battles here
And any traumatic end romantic

All my crushes are successfully crushed here
with just one bold macho move
All my unrequited love affairs here
I am the unrequiting dashing prince
In this realm of glory and romance
I am always the prince in shining armor

Even nightmares are set in orchards
With a backdrop of heavily laden grapes
All the monsters are lumbering nincompoops
Easily duped sliced or dashed
Every ending, victorious or otherwise
Ends with me coming out gallantly romantic

Rainbows are made from a colorless tapestry
transparent water drops sparked into color
Dry brown parched earth, after the rain
Bursts into a kaleidoscope of colorful flowers
And so does come bright dreams at night
From a bleached dull lifeless soul
