Laugh Through Tears

Rising sun, along with some rain,
Showing her smile, hiding her pain.
Producing a rainbow full of cheer,
To keep her family strong, she just laughed through tears.

Leaving her family alone, putting on a face mask,
She married my father, to complete her father's task.
Joining and caring of another family whom she never knew in past,
So to keep everyone happy, she again laughed through tears at last.

Holding me for 9 months, she gave me birth,
Defining me by her name, she commended me with all her worth.
As everyone does cry, I too cried a lot when I was born,
But to make me smile again, she laughed through tears from dusk till dawn.

Growing from a young boy to a gentlemen,
She taught me manners first and education then.
But still sometimes I fight with her over my mistake,
So to end the fight, she just laughs through tears before we take a break.

All through her life, she has always been my biggest support,
Be it a fight or a game or a performance report.
Being on her side, making her feel proud is what I try,
So this time to make her win, let me laugh through tears to never let her cry.

Wow, what a beautiful tribute to your mother! Your words exude love and appreciation for the sacrifices she has made for you and your family. Your use of imagery is also impressive- the contrast between the rising sun and rain, and the image of your mother producing a rainbow full of cheer is truly inspiring.

While it's crystal clear that you adore your mother, I have a couple of improvement suggestions that could make your poem even more impactful. Firstly, consider varying the structure of the poem. Currently, each stanza has four lines, which can make it feel a bit monotonous. Playing around with longer lines or varying the rhyme scheme could help to add some variation and surprise.

Another suggestion would be to incorporate more sensory details. While the imagery is lovely, incorporating more sensory details such as smells or textures, could help to make your memories and experiences with your mother feel more tangible and real.

Overall, your poem is heartfelt and touching, and I'm sure your mother would be touched by it. Keep up the good work!
