Near the aerodrome

Near the aerodrome

Pale blue morning, so blowy, yet serene
ushering grey clouds, greyer one’s intervened
carefree winds began arranging the fuzzy clouds
like random islands on monsoon skies are found.

Still slippery, naked, branches from leafless trees,
pleaded, ‘give us, we pray, more breeze’.

Nearby, sailing past the gloomy dawn, an aeroplane
its lights flickering on foggy heavens’ mane
has said already, ‘till we meet again!
Let rain drops falling on flora and us remain.
