Peace

Prayed before I laid down to go to sleep
Asked the Lord to cover me
No nightmares were had last night
Finally in my sleep I didn’t have to fight
Thank you Lord
For another day
As I repent and pray the evil away
Moving forward as I journey on
Hoping one day to make it home
Help me deal
Increase my faith
Only you know how much I can take
I’m not afraid I’m not ashamed
Even in the valley I’m sustained
I will fear no evil
For you comfort me
