Talk About It

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

We walk by faith and not by sight
And always try to do what’s right
Because the Lord is watching us
We don’t want him to feel disgust

We love to trust and trust to love
The weak we will not push and shove
We care for those who have no wealth
And can’t maintain their physical health

But evil men destroy the poor
On righteousness declaring war
Our God is strong and ready to fight
Destroying those who won’t do right

He’ll gather them into the bus
And send them off in great disgust
