Chasing thoughts

Chasing Thoughts
We walk down empty streets,
Searching for our miss placed thoughts
Waiting for echoes from words
We casually speak.
All we can hear is the beat,
Of our feet on cobbled stone streets.
And our souls in
Permeant retreat.
Recycling thoughts
We rather don’t reach.

About this poem

Sometimes time passes us by and we are totally unaware Rethinking old thoughts and examining dead conversation. But sooner than later we find ourselves back on track
