Unmarked Graves

                    the unmarked graves

Death has no enemies or hate
Knows no triumphs, nor defeats.
It is man who slaughters fellow men,
No regards for the causes , for shattered
Bodies or families incomplete,
but welcomes life desecrate.
Watch the dead and you can only
Scream and in despair weep.
How long and far,
can this madness and carnage sweep.
Images of mothers and the children,
who might have to stand bent with grief
and pain so deep,
Can only deprive you of peace and sleep.
Imagining their beloveds murdered
By an unknown man under command.
By man madness, making life dark and so bleak.
The time must be now,
to halt the burning and destruction to cease.
We must stand and demand
Stop the killing. Stop Death,
Spilling our blood and burning
The flesh of the young and old,
the defenceless and everyone in need.
Stop!!
We beg you with our tears
And broken hearts STOP.
Please stop and remember you are only
Just another man!

About this poem

War and the killing fields are everywhere . Millions are made homeless within days. How did we get here. Stopping this man made madness must be now. How much suffering, how much more destruction can we bear.
