lust.
i want
to undress
leave my skin at the foot of your words
and climb inside
to sate my thirst
to sip at the syllables
fused within the fluid-filled
chambers of your mind.
to imagine feeling the inside of you,
it makes me thick with dis-ease
tracing the annals of your thoughts:
a labyrinth of
memorized, unplayed tracks.
to hold on
sink my hands into your neural paths
my fingers donned in the sticky webs
of every synapse
i breathe deeply as i swim within your circuitry
wading in a plastic madness so
heavy, virulent
i grow weary
as i tread in the depths of you
am i welcome?
perhaps if he just let me stay
perhaps - if i could just -
become encased
inside his cage.
cheek pressed against his chest
jaw humbled, aching against
the reverberations of....
his words, your words
they taste like starvation.
"darling succubus, i always stay awake."
