frequency.

perception is an enclosure
complete with
pressurized compartments,
its translucent walls
protect against a subjective suggestion.
a non-reality
(the infinitesimal separatist)
grey, suspended: the
sound waves
balance upon the beams of delicacy
seemingly conscientious of preserving
our man-made machine:
the concept of time.
linear
leaning against permanence
an impossibility
we've created to quell the
question of self.
but somehow
i can't help but object
while i quiver at
the breadth of the universe seated between us.
nanometers stretched into light years
two impossible, irrevocable truths:
you're inside of me
and
you're quantum leaps away.

P.S. Look up PhD Dr. Hugh Ross who is both Creationist and Physicist. He is utterly brilliant.

I've written a couple theoretical dissertations about the universe, consciousness, etc. I've read the World Treasury of Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy even though I only understood a small portion of it, but nonetheless read the over 1000 pages between its covers. I've always found our existence to be fascinating. What is the point of it all? How did a possible infinite-eternity result from a near impossible quantum singularity condensed into near infinite density??? All from virtual nothing? And so it is that the more man inquires, the more questions there are to answer left unanswered.

One theory I have - zero-point consciousness...or "God thought" for lack of a better descriptive, and at the risk of sounding too religious.

I really like how your mind works, Christa. Very insightful, inquisitive, intelligent writing. You're my kinda poet. :-)
