Butterflies And Sparks

Looking for the dashing spark?
I’ve not seen one even in dark
Butterfly jitters on the inside?
I haven’t had that feeling ride
Hope life fulfills your fantasy
Don’t lose out now on reality

You won’t ever see in me a spark
I’m not a guy to leave that kind of mark
Not made to shock you with my sudden glare
Or to leave you stranded with a dying flare
Cant lead you with any false remark
Wouldn’t let you have a broken heart

I am like a delicate romantic flame
Burning slow and long, not in shame
I can keep your day bright and warm
Withstanding for you, any storm
I don’t ignite and then fade away
I persist, to heat your life each day

Butterflies in stomach, a feeling I can’t give
You have my heart for as long as I live
Warmth and fuzziness you can feel inside
If you give our hearts the time to glide
An emotional bond, deep love with chemistry of its kind
But I guess, it ain’t enough to tingle any mind

Mahesh Wadhwani

I always apologize for the length of my text as that’s the best way for me to communicate rather than verbally!! Not a man of many words but still manage to doodle when in mood to write, which is rare!! I am not even sure if what I scribble is poetry or even what form or just words that rhyme!! To me writing is an art, a sign of creativity and a means of expression. I don't really think that anyone can just write without any feelings, without having felt, without having lived, experienced or cherished. Whatever one writes, there is some amount of a persons own feelings and presence or of those around them, indicated in the works. So I am thankful to all the people in my life and those yet to come for having given me life, love, happiness and even pain. At-least I have had the opportunity to feel it , live it and express it, whatever it maybe. Cheers! more…
