Anger Pruge

Angry are you!! At who and why?
Mind you, in the end it will be you that cries
Anger is just another uncontrollable emotion
It’s sets thoughts and actions into motion
Then it's you that regrets the commotion
You have to handle the pain and explosion

Anger is truly your own bred
It is you that lets it ride with your soul so dead
It’s your expectations that were not met
Your goals, you had too high set
It’s your hopes and desires that got killed
It’s your needs and wants that did not get fulfilled

It is you, that led yourself to believe in them all
It is you, that let others treat you that small
Maybe your just jealous of someone’s easy looking life
Mind you, grass is never greener on the other side
It is all your frustrations that you accrue
Chains of anger, you wrap around you

Fault is you, for your unending thirst
Fault is you, for having in dreams immersed
Fault is you, for latching on possibilities around
Fault is you, for letting your guard down
Why on others do you then burst?
You gotta be angry at yourself first

About this poem

Few people write about anger n those that angered them. Do we realize where the fault may lie? What the point of writing it and letting it haunt when they done really nothing wrong!! Easier said than done lol

Mahesh Wadhwani

I always apologize for the length of my text as that’s the best way for me to communicate rather than verbally!! Not a man of many words but still manage to doodle when in mood to write, which is rare!! I am not even sure if what I scribble is poetry or even what form or just words that rhyme!! To me writing is an art, a sign of creativity and a means of expression. I don't really think that anyone can just write without any feelings, without having felt, without having lived, experienced or cherished. Whatever one writes, there is some amount of a persons own feelings and presence or of those around them, indicated in the works. So I am thankful to all the people in my life and those yet to come for having given me life, love, happiness and even pain. At-least I have had the opportunity to feel it , live it and express it, whatever it maybe. Cheers! more…
