Lately
My heart has been beating,
In a way I do not recognize.
An unknown rhythm;
It's unfortunate.
There is no part of me that remains calm.
Laughing hysterically
At something I cannot comprehend.
A tint of red on my cheeks.
What is this?
There's an emotion here,
One I've dared not to place.
It's like a crash landing Tsunami.
I had no control.
I am trapped in this rhythm.
Wave after wave;
It's getting too intense.
An unsteady breath;
I have lost the will to speak.
Lately
My thoughts have been stuck
In a spiral of temptation.
A simple feeling;
Yet this path is dangerous.
There is no part of me that is ready for this.
The red on my cheeks,
Is getting brighter.
I'm in love with a stranger....
