A Willow Tree on The Village Road

A perennial willow tree
She used to travel on the village road
She was dying for decades
She withstood the vicissitudes of time
With unkempt twigs
Dropping her groaning leaves
She woos to passers-by
People did not notice her much
A crystal willow tree
Coming from all directions
A breeze blow on the village
A sheep shepherd
A habitat for nests
A ravine’s clamour
A cock’s crowing
A crowded cathedral
An abode of souls without bodies
A station between earth and heaven
A drunken willow tree
She used to travel on the village road
She sang the seasons in the best way
Do I ask her again?
To return what is mine
My willow tree long gone
She visits me sometimes
Or I do in my dreams
And I keep asking her
Not to leave me alone
