The Dust of Oblivion

In the slithering cloudy winter
My window bends to the ground
Absorbs the coldness of the stone
In the laborious winter
Lightning strikes the turbulent sea
And the moon above the clouds
Stares as a grim eagle
In the bitter light of the lantern
I see your face
*
Sparrows harden and fall
In their cyclical trajectory
They dance with the coldness face
And wink to icy stars
*
In the hidden road
Dreams settle in craters
Souls pass like a breeze
*
A loud voice shrieks
Winter … winter
The hamlet citizens long gone
Or were hanged
On the cross of remembrance
*
As drifting storms of winter
Old echoes blow through me
If you are an angel
Clap your wings
If you are a light brought by the breeze
The elk will dance
The steppe will wriggle
Hearts will clench
*
The dust of oblivion
Will cover the mirror of absence
And you are not here...
But sorrow will keep a face
On the water surface
And the memory will remain
Hidden in the stone
*
