Earth Angel

Douglas H. Mc Clintock 1934 (Sarnia, Ontario)

I think I shall never see
A  daughter as caring as thee,
Your presence lights up my very room,
You always chase away my gloom.

Your ready smile for me to see,
Always a nice hello for me to hear,
It makes my heart so full of glee,
Why am I so blessed to have you so near ?

Its what inside of you that counts
A daughter's love completes my life.
You see me in all my despair
But you give me meaning to be alive !

Love makes the world a better place,
To have it shared is worth the price.
Its a kinship that  grows and grows,
its like I am living in a paradise !

Your treats and home cooked meals
Make me feel so good inside.
I am so blessed,  I need no refills.
You have made my life so satisfied.

Our talks about things in general
Make me feel so worthwhile.
I will always remember you as my little girl
Always a dad's best friend is just that !
