Two of a Kind, Friend or Foe

God says we should love our enemies,
But I say that is against the grain.
It is so easy to love our family
Because blood is thicker than water !

It is easy to love our friends
Because we have so much in common.
Our words are sincere and never to offend
We do things in earnest in kindly terms.

A funny man once said, you just don't look right to me,
Looks are skin deep, it's what's inside that counts.
But a smile has proven to bring some glee,
It makes you feel like a Mona Lisa !

A friend sees your mistakes and still likes you,
An enemy remembers  your mistakes with relish.
To forgive is Divine, who can do it ?
To forget, who can erase it ?

A friend loves at all times,
No greater love than this, to lay down his life for it.
Hate is not a family value,
Are you your brother's keeper ?

If loves makes the world go around
Lets go for a ride of a lifetime,
The ride is free at no expense,
The ticket is, better to give than to receive !

So what is the moral of this refrain ?
Talk is cheat, anyone can do it,
But a life of action,
With blood, sweat and tears is your true friend !
