Reset

Pin Lim 1982 (Montreal)

Reset

Started off as something I thought had potential when we first met
I'd thought at that time I've finally become someone's Romeo to their Juliet
The stars were aligned for what I assumed were somewhat compatible
Fast forward a few months later, I'm still trying to understand the unthinkable
Someday, eventually I might be able to assess the situation

Time heals all wounds, no matter how deep the cut and devastation
But we can never truly forget someone from our timeline history
Just need to focus the negative energy, so they become a distant memory
How do you stop yourself from going crazy and avoid going insane

Trying to process every little details while still recovering from the pain
Stop Breathe Relax is the words I've often used to remind myself to reset
There are things and events in life that are out of my control, so to that...

Live life with no regrets

I may not know where this winding road of mine will lead me next
The world is cruel and often unfair that can leave many perplex
Behind the broken-hearted and the teary eyes to the unspoken lines
There will come a day when the storm will subside

Dry up all the sorrow and turn them into magic dust Sprinkle myself up make myself anew, time to re-adjust
Be the best version of myself for someone out there to see
To a point where they ask why someone would drop the ball with me.
