Days keeps passing by here I am staring at my phone
Keep checking dating profiles to match...tired of being alone
All I hear is people telling me the best has yet to come
For now I am just a man sitting on en empty throne inside his kingdom

Patiently awaiting for his queen to arrive to finally take his hand
And together they part into an adventure to the promise land
Daydreaming if the moment will ever come...often Iosing my mind
Sometimes when you at least expect it...things just happens with time

I want to believe that true because I know I have the qualities required on many checklist
Just need to filter the ones that will accept me for being "just me" the rest shall be demissed
People find me pretty selective and very picky... I find that amusing
Because you want the best for yourself and not content with accepting mediocrity

I prefer to be alone and wait the long road ahead even if it takes me a while
Better then accepting any takers and pretending to crack a smile
Just keep doing me and for the rest...there's a time and place for everything
One day someone is going to come along and make me feel like a king.
