Two Cold Bodies

You're in my mind, more often than you should be.
Burned behind my eyes
What sweet lies
We've been dead inside
Two cold bodies sharing the same bed
Giving each other head
Wishing we were dead

The love died and my life did too
You killed me softly
But that doesn’t matter to you
Crying myself to sleep
Rocking in my bed
Grinding my teeth and sitting on my hands

I loved you
Did you love me too?
I gave you everything
I'd give you my soul if that's what you wanted
Here take it, what's mine is yours
You want it, you got it

I know I had my hand in this too
I wish I knew back then what I do now
Maybe the love wouldn't have gone
I'm sorry I drove you away
I guess we weren't meant for forever
Nothing feels the same
