People

I wake up in the morning and prepare for the day
working, eating  and watching  NBA
So what makes today different from yesterday?
Don't I do the same just every day?
I guess its people and experiences that change
That adds a little spice, could be  love or just rage

"People" could be friends, colleagues or strangers on the way
Could be a janitor at work,  or your best friend from good olden days.
Sometimes I sit back and brood over the thought
How important are these people, what they say and what not
Some are young , some are older
Some stand by you some give you a cold shoulder
Some are evanescent , some stay forever
Some hear you out and some barely can , ever!
Why didn't he do this? Why was she mad?
Why couldn't they appreciate what I had?
These questions do matter , concerns are genuine
The answers are never simple , they have never been
Here is what I tell myself,
All have their ways to express themselves
If things didn't turn out they way you liked
Try comprehending the other side
Follow your heart and your gut feel
Don't expect the others to ride the same wheel
With all this wise talk , so as it sounds
I still worry about the people around!
I want things right, I want things true
May be a little superficial is fine  but too much, I can't do!!
In the end, everyone has something to share
Just stay courteous and be willing to care.
