THE MADMAN

1.
Pent-up terrors
A madman is revealing,
Show his innermost mind.
2.
Within the forest
The madman creeps, bearing
The aroma of death.
3.
Prowling late at night
Out searching for victims,
To sate insane desires.
4.
Spotting a window
(Open and showing no light!)
The madman enters.
5.
Finding a small girl
He slowly molests her, then
Leaves her there to die.
6.
In the next bedroom
He finds the girl’s mother,
And uses her also.
7.
Leaving the building
He re-enters the park,
Seeking out more victims.
8.
A little boy wanders
Within reach of the man,
Who uses him foully.
9.
Three bodies are found
And so a manhunt begins,
To find the killer.
10.
A cordon is set
Ringing the town, cutting it
From the outside world.
11.
But the cordon fails
And the madman escapes,
To haunt another town.
12.
The death count soars
He’s killed nearly a hundred,
Yet still, he is free.
13.
Perhaps one day soon
The madman will be sated,
But if not, what then?
