Looking Out
Paul Weaver 1964 (Virginia)
As i stand here on this hillside.
Looking out at the world at hand.
Watching clouds move from place to place.
People come and go like leaves on trees.
There is too much chaos in this world.
Will there ever be peace for this place.
I look up into the blue as raindrops fall.
As i stand here on this hillside.
I wonder if love will ever find me.
I think of all the pain and hate.
Thats when tears begin to run down my face.
Sometimes i wish i was a bird.
So i could fly away to the seven sea's.
We must all stand up and be heard.
To help bring peace to the earth.
This is what i see here on this hillside.
Looking out at this world at hand.
