Looking For Him

Paul Weaver 1964 (Virginia)

I'm standing here on this hillside.
Looking across the horizon.
Watching the stars, looking for him.
I remember the first time, i felt Jesus.
It was the day that i was baptized.
In the month of may, in the river below.
He was cleansing my soul.
Washing away all my sins.
He was cleansing my soul.
Washing away all my sins.
Oh how great it was to be touched by him.
I'm standing here on this hillside.
Looking for him, waiting on my lord to come.
Waiting on Jesus to carry me home.
Waiting on Jesus to carry me home.
Waiting on Jesus to carry me home.
Waiting on Jesus to carry me home.
I'm going home with the lord.
