TIRED LIFE BLUES

I've got no place where I can stay
Ain't got no bags, so I'm on my way.
To the boss man, I'm no use,
I'm sick and tired of being abused.

Well, I had nothing to offer
They had nothing to give,
So I beg to fill my coffers
And for the right to live.
Yesterday life seemed a breeze
Everything came to me with ease,
I was living on easy street
Then the carpet was ripped away
             from 'neath my feet.
