Two Roads

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
And I stood there contemplating inner workings of me
On a trek to reveal the road to should
With ink and pen interwoven with hemp and creed
I’ll think nothing of it if the diverged is spent

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
One road callous One road mysterious
One-time off kilter  Ten times has me think crude
Shall I script my fancy indiscriminate ?
I’ll think nothing of it if the divided is spent

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
One step fancy One mile never simple
I wait in the wings of never say in all likelihood
To Pen tales of freedom extended
I’ll think nothing of it if the curtailed is spent

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
One move light One move dark
Apprehensive in the shade of should
Shall I pierce the unknown veil ?
I’ll think nothing of it if the road’s retrenched

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
And I kept this to myself
The roads meld into one could
One becomes the road
And one becomes the entrenched
