Can i go now

The thoughts that fill me when I’m all alone
The silence that rumbles through my  empty home
The dark clouds around me that fill my head
Leave me quietly crying alone in my bed
Having to make it through another long night
Just wishing that now I could give up the fight
But I wake in the morning more depressed than I was
Saddened by life and how it‘s empty of love
The highs the lows and the unbearable times
This is all I’m reduced to a life written in rhymes
I want to give up just want to sleep now forever
Because nothing in my life will get any better
People who loved me have left one way or another
And though I have kids I hardly feel like a mother
I’m broken and beaten now just an empty shell
Wanting a way out of this never ending hell
No one can see all the suffering inside
The smiles and the laughter is just a disguise
I hide all the pain and let only scars show
And everyone wonders but they never will know
That all that I’ve done will never be enough
I just want to go home now, I truly give up
