anagotadavita (in the garden of eden)
in his image you are formed
mighty works you can perform
his embodiment's complete in you
I'm but your helpmeet, it is true.
after seven days of practice
god prepared to make his kin
you're the essence of his glory
I'm just lost in your garden.
and the hemlock is your fury
and the grapes--they are your grace
in the moment I existed
I was blessed to see your face.
and the lions bow before you
and the wolves all fear your name
without you I'm nonexistent
all I bring to you is shame.
you are god's highest creation
with out you I don't survive
but all I brought to you was sin
when from your rib I was derived
in the garden of eden you made me
in the garden of eden I followed
from the garden i have wandered
you're not meant to be alone
and you clothed me
you clothed me
you clothed me in skins
when i fucked up
i fucked up
i fucked up and sinned.
