You
The unhappiness followed me for years.
So much pain and so many tears.
I gave up on ever finding true love
Then one day like a gift from above
There you were with that smile.
What i saw in your eyes made it all worthwhile
But that smile made my heart melt.
It made me feel things I have never felt
It scared me a little and made me nervous
So much so that it left me breathless
The first time we kissed
I finally felt a reason to exist
You make me so happy
And took away all the agony
When you look into my eyes
It gives me butterflies
You are my heart, my soul and my best friend
To me you are a godsend.
