Stubborn Lover

Give it as if hot.
Fresh nonstop.
And right out of the oven.
No muffin, biscuit or cake,
Baked up like this prepared to share...
Or compared to anything else.

Stubborn!
Is this hot lover giver.
Serving it up to let it known.
It will take more than Just one taste.
And don't worry at all,
About being polite.
Satisfy that appetite!

Not that stubborn of a lover,
Who refuses what is too delicious...
Kept to keep alone.
This love once it is craved,
Has to be free to spread the recipe!

'May I have a fork, please?'

'Fork?
That road has long been gone.
We are not looking back,
To appease the etiquette...
Of a political correctness.
Take your fingers and pick up a piece,
With your bared fingers.
And lick that delicious love.
Off your fingers and lips to love.
Like never before.
Seen to witness done in public.'

'But...
What will people think of me?'

'Which ones?
The ones sneaking around,
Pretending to be socially appropriate.
And wasting their time,
Seeking to be accepted and approved?
By who?'

'I don't know.'

'Neither do they!'

'Get yours while it's fresh and hot.
Don't wait around until it stales to rot.
And that leftover love to get?
Is not worth the price to get rid of it!'

'Uh...
I'm confused.
Are you talking about love?
Or...
What's anticipated,
To put in and take out of a hot oven?'

'Either...or!
But whatever you know is yours?
Don't ignore it to take.
It may be too late,
To lick your lips and fingers.
Satisfying you whenever you wish.
Happy holidays!
