TIRED OF TOEING THE LINE

Phil Roberts 1957 (Melbourne)

Am I the only one who's
Tired of toeing the line?
Of obeying evil fascists
Who treat us like mere swine.

In today's foul matriarchy
Why don't we all fight for equality?
Instead of letting Negative Action
Fill our lives with banality.

Rebels, like Jesus, are needed today
To bring down Labor's fascist state,
To bring back family values
Before it becomes too late.

I'm tired of being told that
I have to obey their evil rules,
I don't like being given orders
By such brain-damaged fools.

I'm tired of getting orders from
Moral bankrupts who rule this land,
Who are hopeless at doing anything
Except giving us evil commands.

I'm tired of hearing lies
From pollies who just don't care,
Who ignore our every wish and hope
As though we're not even there..

Are you as tired as me of Pollies
Who seem as mad as hatters?
And who only follow minority issues,
Thinking the majority no longer matters?

They laugh at us stupidly like fools
Who they think should have no rights,
They're a curse up Australia
An evil, suppurating blight.

THE END
