NIGHTMARE WORLD
On a nightmare world
Dreadful secrets unfold,
Ghastly creatures bellow
Making your blood run cold.
Winged monstrosity soaring
Millimetres above the trees,
Unseen by sleeping people
Terror sails on the breeze.
Batlike monsters flying
Around the streets by night,
Hunting man and beast alike
Beneath the foul moon's light.
Just above the rooftops
feathered abominations fly,
Swooping down on prey
From the foul night sky.
On a nightmare world
Equine horrors on the run,
Racing through the awful night
Until the dawning of the sun.
Charging through the night
Hippocentaurs fill the street,
Running down the innocent
Trampled 'neath cloven feet.
Phantom soldiers ride out
Upon long-dead steeds,
Questing for foe to fight
Committing monstrous deeds.
On a nightmare world
Skeletal warriors do fight,
Against anyone they meet
Deadly soldiers of the night.
