The universal language of love

He spoke the universal language of love
When He came to us from heaven above.
Reached out in words and deeds of love to us
this wonderful man of God we call Jesus.

He willingly paid the ultimate price
laying down His life in loves great sacrifice.
“This is how much I love you,” He said,
when upon the cross He suffered and bled.

With arms of love outstretched warm and wide
He embraced the world to Heaven’s side.
May we, His Church respond with love like His  
and reach out to our world with a loving kiss.
