THE BULLY

TommyD 1957 (Ft. Lee)

THE BULLY

Your spits on my face , as I fall to the ground
You're big and you're bad , when there's no one around

You do want you want , as I do as you say
Hate comes from your soul , in the most vile way

Your torment and grief , has laid many to waste
As the blood from their body , in their mouths they do taste

My mind makes me sick , when I think about you
As I lock all my doors , and my food I can't chew

The fear that you leave , is the most eerie kind
As the thoughts that I have , will not now leave my mind

I Pray that my God , takes me now from this place
As I vomit and scream , and I try to embrace ...

That the life that I lead , will now soon disappear
And the hope that I have , will relinquish this fear

That I will find peace , in the hope that will thrive
When you are a nightmare , no longer alive

It's sad that so many young people take their lives because someone else can't cope with the demons in their own lives. All well written poem. Thank you for sharing.

Very well Sir, This is the right way to lighten the load from heart. My teacher once said that a poetry comes out when one is suffering heavy load on his heart. Any way . Thanks. Keep writing.
