Analysis of Tempting Green
Lack of money disperses families
in current days, as sons and daughters go
when no job there, a fact each of them sees,
and they set out: "I’ll find something and grow."
Far from their homes, forced to live with the flow
that’s insecure, all contact’s diluted.
Phones are hardly picked up or muted
because the news, it is seldom okay
when guts and hope have sunk, are grunted.
You can’t climb green hills naively today.
