Analysis of Butterfly's Song
fear clasps your trembling heart
oppresses your fragile lungs
aching for some clearing air
and space for your frail songs
you rarefied and injured wonder
distress cracks in weakened cries
only vaguely the lament is heard
and hopeless are your tired sighs
please let me provide some rejoice
with hope’s uplifting words
amplify your weakened voice
transform it into a butterfly’s song
that brings more lofty sounds
to soothe the awkward wrong
