Analysis of Healing
Let others have it when you’re deeply hurt,
it’s easy, but won’t solve the pain that’s there.
In fact your mind’s reflections will be blurred,
and you could well be bruising those who care.
A wound needs treatment, no aggressive act,
the first impulses felt but close and seal,
this foolishness infects the wound in fact,
and it will grow without a chance to heal.
So let the tears drop down from your sad face,
and show the world the wrongs life did to you.
Don’t spill your strength on planning to disgrace
the other, having that one wounded too.
For those who give the injured heart fresh air,
a means to heal the wound is always there.
