Analysis of Incandescence

I see you in the coal black world of midnight imagery that separates us from the earthly orb of reality.  

Love ties me to you, coupled, like a freight train’s cargo, barreling down the tracks in the pitch of night.

You are my light, perched high on that headlong train, cutting through the darkness.

Your light reaches out to touch me at the crossing, my heart pounds within my chest like jungle drums reverberating against the forest’s wooden walls.

I am the shadows, you are my illumination in my night sky, the intense incandescence in my waking world.
