My Galaxy

The light in thy eyes dances with the Galaxies.
I love how thee see me within those eyes.
Thou art mine guiltiest pleasure in life.

A stolen touch as thee graze my hand.
Exchanged glances as we read each other’s thoughts.
You art nay one I’ve ever known.

I can’t recall thee ere I did before changed eyes.
I only see thee that formed in my mind afterwards.
Your visage rises in the smoke from the morning fire.

I don’t love thee because of thy stunning beauty.
Nor doth I love thee just for thy magnificent mind.
I love thee for thee, all of thee, thy perfect imperfections.

My words rain over you like the spring, droplets flowing down your breasts.
Showering you with my spirit, stripping you before me.
Revealing you to me in your entirety.

I will pick baskets of morning kisses for your perfect nose.
I will release rose petals to the wind so they may find your lips.
My happiness will forever dance to your song.

So many times we have braved the morning star.
Watched the black turn grizzled as the morning hues rose.
You are the light of my Galaxy.
