I Am Just A Man

I am just a man,

Mere mortal,

Not a Saint.

If it's perfect you want,

Well it's perfect I ain't.



Our lives' are just beginning,

In the twilight years of life,

On a journey never ending,

On our pathway free from strife.



I am just a man,

I see things black or white,

I may never be wrong,

But I'm not always right.



Our lives are like a puzzle,

We're both pieces of the game,

Together we are whole,

With neither piece the same.
