Analysis of Worse than where I started

Why must I feel neglected & left alone
Why is it forever that you have been gone
Why does my life feel empty and blue
Why is the answer because I don't have you

How many time have I told you I care
How many teasing dreams of you must I bare
How many days alone do I have to wait here
How many cries must I strain just one tear

I told you I hurt from the pain of distrust
I dismay love that was disguised as lust
I bite my lip to stop from mentioning it all
I want to walk away but fear you may fall

No I don't know if the emotion will subside
No we won't work out if both of us hide
No you can't see the things that will come
No it's not worse than where I started from
