i met this girl whom was at first a child and she made me feel like a boy
i played games and she played games, but we stopped playing with our toy

pain washed over us both like a burning truth serum of anger and sorrow
cold and lonely and didn't stop to think about what would come tomorrow

wondering, waiting, hoping and wishing for the one that makes me feel alive
dreaming of her amazing eyes and bright smile wakes me up inside

remembering her laugh makes me long for a smile to shine the whole world
anxious to be able to kiss those tear covered lips and call her my girl
