My Best Friend

To be a man without someone to love is hard.
It's like a game of chance every time you flip the card.

Sometimes you don't get the one you're looking for.
But, every once in awhile you get the one you adore.

Now I am not that picky when it comes to love.
I will almost take whatever he sends from above.

But, this time I think he made me a good mate.
The girl I see before me is the girl I plan to date.

Now even if things don't work out in the end.
I will always have a girl that I can call my best friend.
