Analysis of Words spoken

words that burn
words that blame
words that sting
words that pain

for some reason
a reason I don't know
words that are sweet
leave at first wind blow
and words that cut
stain and dry
never leaving
never goodbye

So why are the words
that we love to hear
are held so much more loosely
then the ones we fear?

Compliments thrown under
at the hush of a lie
forgetting to forgive
their heads up so high

Words that colour
words that smile
words I'll remember
to make it all worth while
